Pimero Free Edition

There is a lot you can do with Pimero Free Edition: view incoming emails, send out emails, manage a list of contacts, manage tasks, create notes, and more. This is the free version of Pimero, an application that carries the tagline “The Outlook Alternative!” There are two more editions on top of the free one – Pimero Standard and Pimero Professional Edition.

A setup wizard will help you install Pimero Free Edition on your Windows-powered machine. Once this wizard completes its job, you will be presented with another one. This second wizard will help you quickly set up the basic configurations. Going through both these wizards will not take much of your time.

Pimero Free Edition has a ribbon interface. On the ribbon at the top you will find buttons for all the features and functions the application has to offer. The same buttons (apart from Extras) are also displayed on the right hand side of the application’s interface. Thus, you have two handy means of accessing what you want. It must be added here that the interface provides support for skins.

As mentioned above, there are three Pimero editions to choose from: Free, Standard, and Professional. Here are the main features you can expect to get from Pimero Free Edition: agenda, scheduler, email, contacts, tasks, notes, private entries, mobile phone sync, Google sync, iPad and iPod sync, access to Pimero Mobile, RSS feed reader, journal, data encryption, reminder, automatic backup, and more. Please note that the Standard and Professional Editions have more features to offer.
